The Malabrigo worsted is so supersoft to work with and it has great stitch definition.
Here is the first ‘Linde’ I made in a green tweedy yarn.
The linde pullover features large heart shaped leaves with a pronounced stem and vein like lime tree leaves.
It is worked top down, in the round with a circular yoke. The increases are invisibly worked in the leaves. The body is worked in garter stitch. At the waist 2 stems emerge that form the I-cord buttonholes and the stem of the pocket leaves.
Pocket lining and bands and cuffs are worked in a contrasting color. (This came out quite accidental: I ran out of yarn for this first test, so I used another stash yarn for the pocket lining. But I very much like the effect of the darker color)
I decided to make a 2nd linde with 3/4 sleeves in the red Malabrigo and make some minor changes to it.
