… fleur Tee …

fleur Tee is a lightweight Tee or pullover for a cool summer evening or as a layering piece over a shirt.

I used a  larger needle size than recommended to obtain an airy, stretchy light weight garment. (pics: grey-white Tee = no ease, purple Tee, is oversized with 4” (10cm) of positive ease).

Fleur is worked top-down with raglan sleeves. Short rows are used to shape the neckline. The lacey flowers are worked separately in the round and sewn in afterwards as in the fleur cardigan. The Tee is finished with an I-cord bind off.

This is so versatile. It looks very different depending on type of yarn and colors used, going from romantic feminine white to colorful flower power if you make the flowers in a different color… I will definitely make some more

… and another fleur …

Fleur with silk lace yarn (tussah retordé). I just nearly finished an experiment with the fleur cardigan pattern. Making the Large size with lace weight to obtain a very airy knit.

It’s not so very easy to work, started in March and I continue ‘petit à petit’ to see the result

Finished sewing the flowers in. I’m wondering how this will turn out once blocked and if I can find the right buttons. I don’t know if I can wear this, but it sure makes pretty pictures.
